Program: Ann Snell will speak on “The Corporation: Is It Really a Person?” A teacher, then a lawyer, Ms. Snell became an assistant attorney general for the State of Texas, handling litigation in which statutory and both federal and state constitutional questions arose. Later she joined a law firm and became a partner actively practicing law for 23 years.
A Georgetown native, she and her husband Farley (a Councilman in Georgetown) have been regular presenters at Senior University.
After the 2000 presidential election, she said, “I was so upset that I decided to teach a course on our federalism and the 2000 presidential election as a form of therapy. That got me hooked on Senior University and introduced me to some wonderful folks at Sun City.
