Speakers:  Local Democratic candidates and a representative from the Obama re-election campaign
Subject: The Upcoming Elections 

Local Democratic candidates and a representative from the Obama re-election campaign will highlight our May meeting. Georgetown attorney Ken Crain is running to replace the redoubtable District Attorney, John Bradley, or his Republican replacement, Jana Duty, should she win the Republican Primary Election. Ken has practiced law in Georgetown for more than two decades and is well prepared to undertake the changes that are imperative within the DA’s office. Also appearing at our meeting will be Justice Diane Henson, running for re-election in the Third Court of Appeals. This will be Diane’s second visit to our club. We have also invited Paul Sadler, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, who has responded by placing us on his “priority” list of appearances. Judy Jennings is running for the Texas School Board again and has been invited to attend. And finally, Andrew J Karaffa and Megan Klein of “Organizing for America” will speak to us about Obama’s re-election campaign.

The meeting is free and the public is invited to attend. .
