Speaker: Professor Eric Selbin, Southwestern University Professor of Political Science and University Scholar, is the author of Revolution, Resistance, and Rebellion:  The Power of Story.  He specializes in confrontational politics.  He will help us learn about the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Speaker: James Kenneth Galbraith, Texas’ best known economist, writes frequently for mainstream publications and is a frequent expert guest on TV.  He is currently a Professor at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs and Chairman of the Department of Government, University of Texas at Austin, as well as the holder of other academic appointments.  His topic will be  The Crisis, Jobs, and the Future of the American Economy.
